We at Modellteknik AB are actively working to take the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for our impact on society from an economic, environmental and a social perspective.
We are pleased of the fact that there are organizations as BRIS (Children's Rights in Society) and Barncancerfonden (Childhood Cancer Foundation) and it is therefore of a great importance for us to support such organizations. By donations from Modellteknik AB and other companies, also including private persons, we are able to promote and support BRIS and Barncancerfonden in their goal to create a better quality of life for the children and their families.
Every year, about 300 children and young people in Sweden develop some form of cancer, and around 1,000 children and young people are in treatment. BRIS (Children's Rights in Society) is an NGO with no party political or religious affiliations that supports children in distress and is a link between children, adults and the community. All support services build on volunteer work and financial support, primarily from corporate cooperation and private persons, and to small extent governmental grants. The goal of BRIS’ support services is to strengthen the rights of children and young people and improve their living conditions, which is done with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as a guide. BRIS' shall support vulnerable children and young people in particular, and provide opportunities for children and young people to conduct a dialogue with adults. Read more here.
